Teja’s Bitter Satires Worrying Telugu Biggies

Audio of launch of Teja’s latest movie “Hora Hori” took place the other day, where Teja used the dias to vent his frustration at the criticism thrown at him. He confirmed that Telugu films are coming up with only two stories, and they are becoming blockbusters, but no one talks about them.

“Telugu films are following just two story patterns. The first one is a Babu garu formula, where the hero comes to a city/village/town and does simple chores. Only during interval we will know how powerful he is, how rich he is, a mind-blowing past and an extremely rich family behind him. As usual he gives up everything in the climax. Another one is Gundamma Katha formula. Hero comes to villain’s house and makes villain’s daughter fall in love with him. No one knows whats happening in that house, while the one who knows it never reveals. Later a comedian like Brahmi enters the house, but none will believe even if he tells truth. You are accepting these films, but when I make something you call it Jayam, how's this ethical?" asked Teja.
